Important Deadlines

Supplemental Disaster Relief (SDR) Program

April 30, 2026

Acreage reporting must be completed by April 24, and staffing will be limited.

If you haven’t certified acreage for Specialty Crops for 2025 and have never participated with our local FSA office before, you will be placed in line with a current list of over 400 producers for Kern.

You will need to submit and not limited to (if new to FSA):

  • -Copies of Grant Deeds/Leases
  • -Copies of Maps to identify the ground, specifying the crop, plant dates, irrigated vs non irrigated
  • -Verifiable documentation that the crop existed in 2025
  • -Operation Agreement
  • -Along with all other eligibility documentation to participate with the Farm Service Agency

The deadline for the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program is Thursday, April 30th.
