CAPK Box Building

Come join the Kern Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) as they meet for a service day at CAPK on Saturday, June 27th from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM to do box building for the community. CAPK serves 2 million pounds of food every month to the community, and service days like this help make that happen. This is a great opportunity to both volunteer and meet YF&R members who will be there serving!

Note: If you are attending, please try to arrive 15 min early for checkin and wear closed toed, non-slip shoes.

Where to meet? 

You can find CAPK at 1807 Feliz Drive, behind The American Job Center, but are encouraged to use the directions below to better find the front of CAPK’s warehouse. Google and Apple maps tend to send folks on a little side quest to the back of the warehouse or to another part of the neighborhood.

Please note that if you do end up at the back of the warehouse you’ll need to go around to the front as the back gate is only available for the delivery trucks to enter through. 

1. Take Exit 24 to merge onto CA-58 toward Mojave

2. Take Exit 113 for Martin Luther King Blvd South

3. Take the second left onto E. Belle Terrace

4. Continue to the end of E. Belle Terrace and follow the curve to the left

5. The Food Bank will be on the right-hand side of the road – WooWhoo! You have arrived
